Looking down the page you linked it looks like it clamps around the steerer, so you'd need enough spacers in there to fit round.

I had one with the A head stem adaptor and it worked perfectly

Some pics here running on ahead stem minus the spacers - accentuates the angle a touch but works fine.
You might find spacers come up different sizes - budget ones on my commuter are a touch and bolt caught a bit leaving a mark... still works fine, and I could ditch the 50p spacer for something made to better tolerances.

Hello me from a few weeks ago! I did what lookitsluke did above - removed the mount's plastic spacers and fitted over my usual steerer tube spacers. Seems fine on the daily 10 minute ride to nursery.

Hi, I have both systems.
From reading the instructions back when I bought these, I think they recommend using either adaptor only on a steel stem or steel steerer. Seems quite risk averse on their part but in my case I was able to comply.
The ahead stem adaptor works perfectly fine, so can positively feedback like @FarCorfe
Can take pictures if you want. The plate that goes over the steerer isn't very thick so unless you've not much insertion height already in your stem, you don't really need to remove any spacers (you're only raising bars by 1-2mm max)
I found the seat impossible to use with drop handle bars (I feel silly I even tried), only works (for me) with city bike-like bars.
Hi hoping some of the parents on the forum who use the Yepp front mount carriers can help.
I am looking at purchasing the Yepp Nexxt Mini https://www.twowheelingtots.com/thule-yepp-nexxt-mini-review/
But I am confused about how to mount this to a road bike with a threadless, a head type stem. The stem on the road bike is the usual standard 1 1/8 plus spacers. But the max diameter for the Yepp mount is only 28mm. Does this mean you have to remove spacers to put this mount on? Effectively using the mount as spacers to get the handlebars to the right height on the stack?
I also intend to use this on a bike with a quill stem, but this seems more straight forward.
I've also looked at the older model Yepp Mini which has a A head stem adaptor but the reviews for this suggest its poorly designed.
