OT: Mid Century G Plan Librenza Room Divider

  • I'm moving soon, and this won't fit in our new house so selling before we go.

It's a 1950/60's G Plan Librenza Room Divider. It is a really useful storage solution, the bottom cupboard can be adjusted to sit flush to a wall, or centrally to use as a room divider. You can fit 12" vinyl in the bottom cupboard by taking the shelf out.

I've tried to capture any chips or damage, it's in used condition, and shows signs of life (please look closely at detailed photos in link below).

There are some marks on the front edge of the bottom cabinet, and previous to my ownership someone has added a mirror to the second cabinet door, this means it doesn't close flush, it just needs about 5mm removing from the blocks inside the door - it stays closed so I never got round to it. There is a slight split to the wood edge on the right of the door - this is the close up image with the flash used.

I've cleaned it and given it two coats of Danish Oil.

    Dimensions:
    Height - 1905mm
    Width - 955mm
    Depth (of deepest point) 460mm

Realistically you'll need a van to collect it as some of the shelves are glued and not removable, however the largest bottom piece does remove so if you have an estate you might be ok.

In similar condition on ebay they seem to go for between £300-400, I hate selling furniture on eBay/Gumtree etc so for an easy life I am asking for £250 collected from Lewisham.

  • Price drop to £200 before I list it elsewhere.

  • Crikey, that’s a lot of ‘Beryl’ : )

  • Yeah, it didn't start out as a collecting thing, but here we are 😂
