I often get offroad Sundays but my wife is pregnant so my days off aren't quite as to myself as they used to be. Me and a mate have been trying to get a Monday evening at Stanmer but it keeps fucking raining. We're racing at Pippingford next weekend but after that if we get out I'll give you a shout š

Got a baby coming so my participation may be erratic but I'm up for some rides.
I don't have a XC bike but do have an Arkose! -

I think we'll wait to see the full impact of this one first before making those kind of decisions but thanks for the offer š

I have an ad-hoc whatsapp group with a few friends usually doing Stanmer Park, South Downs Way and the odd road trip. I'm isolating at the moment but definitely going out next weekend - you're welcome to join in the fun.
I also have all the children I need/want if that makes any difference...

I love riding XC along the SDW when I get the chance, but can't commit to a regular(ish) ride I'm afraid. (Already committed to a regular off-road on Sundays with Mrs. sea-level, one of the ways we stay in-sync.)

Could also try a one off forum ride this summer. It would be nice to get all the forum locals together.

Ok nice. I'll have a look at some dates this weekend. Also,
I could change the title thread to 'SDW socials' or similar. People can just post up when they are riding so others can join in. -

If anyone else is up for it, I'm heading up to Stanmer Park this Sunday. Aiming to get there for 8/8:30ish to play about on Clara's, Buzz Lightyear, Zorro's, etc.

That sounds good.
I am always busy at the moment with a very-nearly-two year old and a partner that loves to make plans well in advance. But I'll keep an eye on this if anyone fancies having an unfit shit mtber around. -

Got myself a XC bike! Now just need to find some time to ride it (baby life).

Nice what did you get? Our baby girl is due at Christmas so i think 4 hour rides on the downs may soon be something i used to do. I optimistically just bought some new carbon wheels thinking I'll still be able to use them š¤

What a Christmas present!
It will all depend on whether you want to disappear for a morning/afternoon or if you're partner will be very relaxed about parental sharing :)
Lets just say my partner is not ok with me buggering off and having fun whilst she is left on baby duty. Which is totally understandable.I bought a second hand Orange Clockwork which was very nicely spec'd. Hope, XT, Rockshox, etc.
