I think I've got a threaded steerer pair of P2's although the steerer is quite short from memory, if any use. I'll check tonight. I'm in Paisley too!! Not sure if they are 1" or 1 1/8".

Wow, this could be amazing! I'll measure the head tube on the stumpy, it's pretty short though so could be good!

Just in from work but will get some details in the morning.

FYI: Stumpjumpers went from a 1 inch fork in 1992, to a 1 1/8 inch threaded in 1993, to a modern 1 1/8 inch in 1994. So if you have a late 90s SJ, you'll need the latter.

P2’s are 1 1/8”. I also have a pair from an old Trek 830 MTB which have a 1” steerer. They are threaded but have some sort of extender which I must have put in so they can be used with an ahead style stem. I’ll be out and about today so can stick these in the car. Let me know where about you are and you could try them out if you want.

Ah shit, I was looking at my emails for updates, should have logged in. Sorry dude, I'll PM you, I could pop in this evening with the frame and do a quick test fit if it's not too much hassle? The steerer is definitely 1 inch on the bike.

@Muddyfox69 Top man for coming in past with the forks to try and also the soudal bits and bobs! Minor bump to see if anyone's got anything hanging around in their parts bin.

What steerer length do you need? I've got a 1" fork (Tange Prestige tubing) that comes from an early (high end) Decatlon bike.

That bike's rad, I'll measure tonight. Thanks very much for the offer. As previous, I'm in Paisley so would need posting. If that's a PITA just let me know.

I'm in Belgium so will need posting anyway. You can have the frame for free when you take the forks. ;-)

How much £ are we talking here?

Forks are 25 € (40 € posted - standard, so without tracking)
Frame + forks is 25 € (60 € posted - tracking included)Wim
Anyone got anything hanging about? I'm building up a late 90's stumpy into a single speed dad bike and the original forks were totally rogered. Doesn't need to be fancy but a pair of P2's would go down a treat! I'm in Paisley so will pay for postage obviously. Alternatively, if anyone has picked something up from the internet and it was decent, let me know please.
Thanks guys.
