I'm all about that utilitarian (heavy as lead) duck cotton. Would be tempted by a pair of cycle briefcases, if only I had a job that enabled them.

Managed to fill all the bosses on a Thorn fork, must be turning into @Skülly.

Yup, these are duck cotton ones. Come with circa 5kg of South downs clay so v heavy. Leather fasteners offer up to three degrees of tension

Mate the briefcase is literally amazing. Boy wonder was telling his mum how much he LOVES that bag the other day, proud is the word ... he went in one day last week, got absolutely drenched head to toe so every bit of clothing was soaked (16, never wears a coat obvs), yet all his mahoosive school books and work was still bone dry. I owe you big time! Sending your Ortleibs and one or two other things as a thank you.
