This camera has a cult following among street photographers and is now difficult to find in the UK.

Love these. Have three of them in varying states of disrepair but pretty much all working (ones mint tbf).
One died a death at Craig David’s pool party in beefa but came back alive after about a year. #nevergiveup

I actually need to get rid of pretty much all of cameras bar a few. Will do a thread soon.

I moved on from the film GR1s to the GR11 digital (with the larger sensor). It's also great to use and produces amazing results.
Ricoh really know what they're doing.

Tbf mine are either too shit or too good to let go. My shit ones I use as almost disposables.

I bought this to replace a lost GR1V which to some degree was made easier by its increasing reluctance to turn on. It’s sad to watch these era of cameras die.

I have one. I ran a roll of film through it recently and it worked fine. The light trap for the film cassette viewing window needs replacing but apart from that it's in good shape.
