Bought this off the forum a while back and couldn't ride it for a long time, then sorted it and rode it a lot in Epping - perfect bike for that. I have started going to Surrey Hills a lot more often though and got a newer, slacker frame. I would keep this if I wasn't adhering to a strict 3 (ish) in, 1 out policy as it is an incredibly versatile bike and a lovely comfortable ride.
The frame is in good condition all told, lots of scratches to the paint and a small bit of rub inside the chaintays, but it's just in the paint. There are no dents or big gouges.
The decals on these are much nicer than the terrible ones Orange moved to a few years later.
The frame weighs in at 2.2kg.
Measurements are as follows:
TT 54cm CTC
ST 39cm CTC 44cm CTT
HT 8.7
I also have some nice straight blade disc forks which would go very nicely with it.
They weigh 1.02kg and measure 440mm A-C.
Steerer Tube is 19cm
This would make a great start for a bikepacking bike, it has rack mounts at the dropouts and on the wishbone seatstays (very sexy). Also has two eyelets under the downtube which could be used for bikepacking related things?
I could potentially supply some parts if you would be interested in getting started with the build.
Looking for £130 for Frame and Fork to begin with, Frame only for £100. Collection from E9 or postage at buyers expense.
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering: ![](https://www.google.co.uk/images/srpr/logo4w.png) That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot
