Anyone want this? It's a 15" Trek 820 in a nice green. Wheels are quando hubs with screw-on 7-speed freewheel.
The seatpost is seized, so that will need a bit of effort. Otherwise it needs:
Rear wheel bearing repacking
New BB, it spins but is loose. Needs replacing sometime
New brake levers
A seat post binder bolt
Recabling
A really good clean, service and lube
A new saddle or lots of gaffer tape
The good:
Chain showing less than 0.75% wear
Brake blocks have heaps of life
Tyres (Specialized Hemisphere) seem sound and take air
Rims are in good nick
Wellgo pedals spin fine
I'd love to build this up as a kids bike, but I just don't have the time right now to get into a refurb. It was a pavement freebie so free to a good home, although I wouldn't mind a beer for the time I took freeing up the stem.
Pickup from SW London. Can't be ridden away as the brakes are non-functional.
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering: ![](https://www.google.co.uk/images/srpr/logo4w.png) That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot

For syntax highlighting, surround the code block with three backticks:
```
Your code goes here
```
Just like Github, a blank line must precede a code block.
If you upload more than 5 files we will display all attachments as thumbnails.
