  • Lowered price. 500 quid.

Bought off LFGSS about a year ago as a frame. Its a medium.

Ive built up with Novatec wheels that have tubeles Schwalbe G Ones on. SLX cranks set up as 1x10 with an SLX rear cassette, XT derailuer and XT shifter. Brakes are XT calipers and levers with 160 rear and 180 front. Forks are steel adventure forks that came with the frame, mounting points up both sides. Seatpost os a generic Ali off ebay, bars are chinese carbon risers which work well. Stem is a thomson 60mm. Pedals are nukeproof flats. Saddles are a personal choice (id love to keep this one) so feel free to knock some cash off and use your own.

Because of the dropout system this is easilly run as single speed. Ive run with a 16t and spacers on the freehub, also have a 14t shimano ring to go to. All included.

Mudguards are fitted, they will come too.

All in all, this is the most flexible bike ive owned. Dropouts and all external cables make swapping set up a breeze. Problem is, ive realised im only doing one sort of riding at the mo. Hence the El Mar has to go.

Id like 500 quid for this one. Picked up in SE7.

  • There are little bits where some paint has rubbed off but i think thats reflected in the price.

  • Looks fun, glws

  • Its ace, but 1 in 1 out according to my life partner......

  • Pm’d

  • Replied to DM's

  • excuse my ignorance but what makes this so valuable? A steel 26 QR MTB is generally like 200/300 used no? Like an On One Inbred.

  • Its a 29er.

Feel free to offer 300. Itll be a no. Thanks for the input though.

Does the inbred have the swinging dropouts?

  • I am genuinely curious; fair on 29er front.

Inbred did have a single speed option but not as sophisticated as this.

    I already have a 29er ;)

  • It's loads of bike for the money compared to, say, a surly frameset... plus the dropouts say Ride and Smile on them :-)

  • Amey. If your around SE come and have a scoot and a cup of tea.

The rear dropouts can be set up for QR / Bolt Thru / specific SS. There are quite a few options. Have a look on Google images and there are loads of pretty diverse set ups. This one is the springier steel of the earlier frames.

  • I also googled, seems like very popular in bikepacking crowd too

  • whomever i bought it off had plans on using it for a transrockies trip.

went the Jones route in the end.

  • Hmmm. Do you know the year ? Geo chart?

  • Ill have a look.

  • Its a 2013 Medium. Forgot to mention its the year they did the triple butted Sanko tubing.

Here it is on the website.

  • I really like the bike and i am after something similar, but when i see bikes on sale that are dirty looks like they have not been looked after. I might be wrong and i am not here to judge, just a suggestion. If the bike was sparkling clean i would have probably sent you an offer if not the asking price. glws

  • Ah well. Hope you find something similar. Between getting 3 kids back and forth to school (thats where the dirt is from btw). A full time job. Keeping a house clean and answering silly non judgemental posts, I didnt have time to clean the bike. But thanks for the feedback.

  • Seems like a strange beef to take with a classifieds ad.

On One are always the cheap option, that doesn't dictate the market value of other brands?

  • Thanks for the geo. Is post an option? You sound busy

  • Where abouts are you D?

If i can get a bike (cardboard) box i could possibly post.

  • Ok.

    This needs to go.

    500 quid now please....

  • Lol, that bike isn't dirty

  • The dirt comes free with the bike...
