Basically an extended recessed nut with rear thread - allows you to attach a front mudguard to the back of the fork crown rather than the front. Ta.

The alternative is to take a standard mudguard nut and run a tap down the back end of it.
IIRC M6 works well and gives enough thread on the Allen socket to hold a mudguard very nicely, though I think the supplied mudguard bolts are M5 so you also need to find a bigger one, and run a drill bit through the mudguard bracket to give clearance.
Anybody got one of these (shorter version) knocking around? Cheers.
