A thread for a very specific genre of photo taken whilst on a ride. The kind of photo that just gets you excited to ride a bike. I often stumble across pictures like this in project threads and felt like they deserved a proper home.

There was some good ones in the festive 500 thread and Camille McMillan's pics I like a lot. Edit: @Thuekr and @xDOMx also have some lovely pictures too that make you want to ride a bike.

A couple from Derbyshire two years ago and one from Epping 10 years ago. The Peak District has obvious cycling appeal, the Epping shot just captures the full horror of being followed by a horde of fixie skidders

Great idea. Incredible shots already! Here’s mine from the IOW last Sunday. First time in 10 years with almost no wind, glorious.

A few from this ride between Valencia and Buñol. If anyone is in the area, that route back from Buñol had some absolutely lovely roads to ride. Highly recommended.

Good thread: one of my pet hates is when people post pix of their ride and you see a picture of them in the car park, in a bunch sitting at the top of the hill and sitting down in the cafe.

I much prefer shots captured while actually riding, usually a screengrab from a GoPro video file. Here are two wildly differing shots taken by me
