  • Acknowledging my lack of prepensity to 'bikepack' like the cool kids, despite throwing a lot of money at some very nice gear!

While the bags below have been fairly well used, the sleeping gear has been used for 2 'nights' over the past 2 years, which probably works out to about 8 hours actual sleeping time in total. Combined, the mat, bivi bag and liner make a complete sleep system weighing under 1300g so pretty weenie. Based in Devon so prices include postage, but will need some time to pack and send so bear with me!

    1. (Sold to @JamJam) Nordisk Ven 2.5 - very, very light sleeping mat and packs down tiny. Pictures below with banana for scale. Bear in mind this is a small mat, and is only 122cm long so perfect for weight weenie side sleepers. £40 posted.
    2. (Sold to @Hamham) Berghaus Big Wall Bivi - phenomenal bag, all the bells and whistles. Fully gore tex, primaloft lining down the botton 2/3rds (which also unzips for hot nights) so I never had to use a proper sleeping bag in it. Properly waterproof too if you're a hardcore sadist and like bivving in the rain. Makes a common or garden bivi bag look like a bin liner. £65 posted.
    3. (Sold to @Hamham) RAB Silk Liner - only ever used inside the above bivi bag instead of a full sleeping bag. Packs tiny and weighs beans. £30 posted
    4. (Sold to @.ben) Alpkit Stem Cell Bag - well used but not damaged at all. Yellow lining shows up all the mud and muck but perfectly useable. £17 posted
    5. (Sold to @ILb) Apidura Backcountry Seatpack - I've used this loads, all my trips but mostly for commuting with my work clothes and shoes in. Showing honest wear but again, no real damage to speak of. Pretty sure this is the 17.5 litre version. £70 posted
    6. (Sold to @Skülly) Alpkit Folding Trowel - stainless steel trowel, kept for emergency wild pooing, but thankfully never needed so brand new and unused. £7.50 posted

  • 2nd dibs on the RAB liner if hamham decides against it.

  • Noted, cheers! Am in touch with @Hamham via PM so will keep you in the loop.

  • Might take second dibs on the bivvy if hamham doesn’t take it.

  • Make that 6th dibs at this point I'm afraid @Tonts! Will keep the thread updated and let you know if it gets to you :)

  • Could be tempted by the bivy Hamham doesn't take it.

Just saw your reply - add me to the very back of queue.

  • Dibs the mat if it still about?

  • Trowel please!!

  • Classy ;)

Of course, PM me and we'll get it sorted.

  • @2slices, sold pending payment I'm afraid! Have updated the thread.
@JamJam, I think you're 2nd behind @hat_hair on the mat, just waiting to hear back from them on whether they want the mat, as they got pipped to the post on the bivi and liner and were after all 3...

Will keep the thread up to date when items go from dibs to sold.

  • Updated with sold items. Trowel and Apidura pack remaining.

  • I'll take the trowel please!

  • Trowel gone ?

  • Afraid so, Skully just beat you to it.

Who’d have thoughts there’d be a queue for a poop trowel?!

  • Just the Apidura bag left. Open to offers if I’ve over-priced it.

  • i love a wild-poo

  • As a matter of interest, where did you get the trowel? I don't see any mention of it on the alpkit website and it would make a great present to my wild-poo loving OH :)

  • Got it from Alpkit, must’ve been a couple of years ago now. https://alpkit.com/products/arlo-folding-trowel

Nothing says ‘I love you’ like a trowel for your shit.

  • Thanks a lot, my google-fu must be weak this morning
