DMR Trail Star Mark 1 Frame and Trail Blade Forks

Posted on
  • Just chucking this out there......I have a DMR trail star mark 1 frame, v-brake only, and a set of trail blade mark 1 forks.

4130 cromo frame, paint work is slightly tatty, and graphics have seen better days.
135mm Horizontal drop outs, euro bb, 25.4mm seat post!

Trail blade forks, v-brake and disc....again slightly battered, but straight(not an easy task to bend them)

It was meant to be a project......but ya know BCF race licence ain't cheap....

£100 F & F, will chuck in a headset, nothing special but new.

Collection or am happy to deliver anywhere Ruislip Manor to Brixton....

(Will post pictures tomorrow, need to get it out of storage)

  • Oh shit!
I ordered a mk2 trailstar back in the day and the first one turned up with a dent in the head tube, second one turned up with one of the drop outs bent, sent that one back and it was 'lost' in the post and left me out of pocket. Have still never really got over it...

Is it red or blue and what size? I think there was a 14" and a 16"

I don't need this but could be tempted, keen to see pics

  • Red, 'cos red bikes are faster!

    16"

All braze ons are still attached, just wish I had the tug nuts with the mech hanger...

  • I have DMR tug nuts and hanger if you need. Bought for another bike but never ended up using them.

  • Sold?

  • Didn't sell.....

  • Interested please. What size rider is this suitable for & photos please. Cheers & happy Ramadan

  • I believe it was a 16" frame, which would comfortably cover 5'3 to 5'9, although could probably go up to 6'........

  • Ah I think that's too small for me. GLWS.
