I have one of these knocking about in the shed-
not VO, probably System Ex or something
I can check length etc. tomorrow afternoon- I also found Surly Truckstop bars to be fantastic for that extra bit of height.

Hey up. I've considered those but they don't actually add loads of rise given the -17 angle. Look nice though.
I'm further into gumper territory unfortunately. If I hadn't cut steerers, about 55-60mm spacers with a +7 stem is at least what's needed, which is similar to a 190 or 225mm nitto technomic, or a +17 stem with fewer spacers.
I'm sorting the steel bikes where stacking it up is less of a concern and then if I can ride them comfortably I'll worry about the summer bike with carbon fork.
I'm coming round to the riser-drop bars for one bike where a high angled stem won't suit it
Back/hip issue has meant lots of time off the bikes. Only way to currently ride comfortably is with bars level with saddle on frames that used to fit me with normal stems with 5-7cm of saddle-bar drop. (54-55cm frames at 5ft8).
Have several bikes so need 31.8 threadless, as well as 26.0 quill stems in 17-35 degree angles and 80-100mm reach. (Difference can be made up with spacers). There are some options available from shops but hoping to find something a bit more tasteful, e.g. Nitto, Salsa, Thomson.
(Oh and if you tell me to get a bike fit/get more flexible you can respectfully do one. I've tried everything including surgery over 3 years and will need a hip replacement before 40, but this might allow me to ride more than 10 miles again in comfort. I could maybe sell all my frames and size up to 57cmish frames or go custom but that's a kettle of fish I'm not exploring til I know I can ride consistently again).
Cheers,
Sam
