I grew up in a very average cul-de-sac in the 'burbs of brum, and no idea where this came from, but apparently the singer of dexys midnight runners built someone's front garden wall in our road. So for me it could be 'Come On Eileen'. Beat that.
(It's not been fact checked).

I like the tenuous/obscure/pointless ones :)
For the last year (since the first lockdown) I have been running a song challenge with work. It started out with the 'challenge' below. The aim was to keep us together and have something to keep us talking (about work or otherwise). It seems funny now to think I was woried we'd only get half way through it before we were all back in the office...
After the 30days I asked my colleagues if they wanted to carry on. They did, so I continued until I took 2 weeks off in the summer. Asked again. Carried on etc...
Anyway so I'm approaching the 150th 'challenge' now (I moved down to three days a week after summer) and people are still keen.
On a Thursday I now do the #ThursdayThrowdown, which is essentially a tournament - everyone's picked an artist and they've been drawn at random.
I'm starting to run out of inspiration and I thought I'd see if anyone has any suggestions. Please chuck them below if you do...
Edit: Don't ask me about a couple of the results in the Thursday thing. Outrageous
