Who are the other instructor trainers on here? @skydancer anyone else?

It sounds like in addition to a teaching qualification another hoop to jump through might be added - an assessor qualification.

Is the plan to make being an instructor trainer financially unviable?

There's an tiered qualification for different levels of training from 1st4sport
Level 2 is the cycle trainer
Level 3, the trainer trainer (tutor) Qual that DJ has
Level 4 the Quality assurer

It appears to be a group of people who want to make it financially unviable to become a cycling instructor unless you work for one of the major organisations within the field. Raise the cost to the point where it becomes a monopoly or duopoly.
