hey, a friend of mine asked colossi about custom geo, and back then (about a year ago) custom was still possible. I own a colossi cheeko, it is my commuter since 5 and a half years and so far I had no issues with it. I believe that the manufacuring is now completely in NL, but some years ago colossi frames were made in Taiwan, from this era come all the collabo framesets, e.g. heavypedal zephyr, star track lopro etc. they´re basically colossis with other paintjobs.

I had a custom colossi ages ago, anecdotally I would say that it wont be good because you dont know what you want and 99% of consumers can be happy with OTP bikes.
dont get/pursue a custom, its a pipe dream
buy a giant, canyon, trek, decathlon

Hi @HK_Berlin thanks a lot for the info, and yes, after your reply I did what a sensible person should have done and read the bio on their website, all the info are there. I might drop them an email and see what they tell me then. For that reasonable price I wouldn't mind waiting a little longer to be fair especially for a custom build. I was thinking to go either LowPro or Crit, but making sure I don't have the same issue I have with my current frame.

Hi @amey how would you review it?
I would disagree on the fact I don't know. I would like a fame bike that looks the part based on my taste/preference, and that will also be a good fit for my body, I don't want to have the issue I had with my first Cinelli neither the one I had, unfortunately, with the second.
Hi everyone,
on the basis on one of the option in this conversation, I started looking around for frames and builders who can create something of my liking and to size and I stumbled upon Colossi. I thought they were doing custom to fit builds so I contacted them and at first glance it doesn't seem to be the case but they only offer OTP.
Their frames still look interesting so they might still be an option if I can't find other suitable builders who work with the cycle to work scheme because of their affordability; I was quoted the following:
Frame: 495 Euro
Fork: 135 Euro
Shipping: 55 Euro
Does anyone have opinion, infos or personal experience on them? Are they good? Are they locally built or do these frames come from some remote Chinese factory like many frames this style?
Thanks in advance for your help.
