Santa Cruz Stigmata?

  • I like the look of these, but they're certainly not cheap! Has anyone had a chance to ride one?

The reviews from the big sites are generally positive but I'm interested in more long term / real world opinions.

  • there was someone with a lovely looking one in primary yellow in the London CX league last year.

I'm sure there was someone in the home counties that had demo bikes but this is all I can find right now: https://pedalandspoke.co.uk/demo-bike/ MTBs but no Stigmatas

  • they did have a stigmata outside a few times I rode past

  • I think I know at least 4 with one, they all love it. Rad bike.

  • Yep. Had one years ago during the canary yellow era. Had it about a year before ‘gravel’ really took off. It was awesome in every way I could think of a ‘fun’ bike should be. At the time it was road bike geometry with big tyre capacity.

Got rid of it because it creaked like hell and Santa Cruz wasn’t interested in helping. I had a workshop at my disposal abs still couldn’t shut it up.

Not versed up on the new gen, but I’d have one if I still had trade.

  • I had an orange one.... loved that bike, really regret selling it, but I wanted bigger tyre clearance. .. the current model would do that... and the new green paint job.... my my... lovely bike

  • Ah that sucks. I thought santa cruz did great support.

    did you ever try 650b?

  • Got a cracked Hightower at work to rebuild nee. Customer got a new frame with no issues from them, so guess things changed.

Dunno about now, but hourglass stays didn’t let me do 650.

It’s worth it f you can afford it. People tend to hold on to them.
