From the 'never gonna do anything with this'/'too much hassle to maintain' dept: A bunch of (mostly) Weinmann rims with suitable hubs and freewheels. I used these for a few weeks, swapped out for 700c and never looked back. My lockdown build of an old klunker was fun, but seriously, ENOUGH of this crap.

Details (all rims are 36-hole):
27" alu Weinmann rim laced to Normandy front hub. A wobble that I can't be bothered dealing with. Gatorskin is okay. Tube inflates. I would say the best things here are the tube, tyre and hub. These Weinmann rims are made of cheeeese. Will include a Maillard front QR skewer.
27" Raleigh TruBuild with a 5-speed freewheel. Gatorskin has no damage. Tube inflates. Ho-hum.
700c Weinmann concave rim laced with Sapim spokes to Maillard front- will polish up nicely - needs to be tensioned and trued. These Weinmann rims are famously strong. Cockroaches and Weinmann concaves in the post-nuclear landscape.
The matching 700c Weinmann concave rim - needs a hub and spokessss.
700c Weinmann concave rim on a Helicomatic rear - includes the rare-as-hens-teeth Helicomatic lockring!!!111. Come on, this is like free money!
Mavic 319 rim - has been used with a Nexus 3sp - so no rim wear.
Normandy rear hub with Maillard QR skewer.
Shimano HG 7-speed cassette
