Have had the exact same frame (originally same paint job and all) for the last ten years, love it

I'm interested if you'd entertain postage to the south coast. I'd come pick it up if it weren't for the ol' pandemic

Yeah, I really lover this too but I just don't have room for it as it's not really doing the job I need it to nowadays really, so it's got to go. Is your's in a better state than mine?

Just messaged @jeff80 to say in the interim of a day I've bought another frame on eBay so I'm gunna have to pass. Dibs on to @Pipyepip
@sacredhart that's a super kind offer too. I'm actually in Portsmouth so this wouldn't have worked but I appreciate the offer all the same.

Bargain for somebody, Carlton track frames are getting harder to find and the value of Carltons in general is definitely on the rise.
I wish it was bigger. -

PMing you re parts
I'm pretty sad about selling this after the 9 or so years I've been riding it around London's Famous London, and ws going to restore it back to new for velodrome posing. But frankly, the chances of my riding on the track on this are v. slim as I am well, old and lazy, and it just does not do the job I need it to right now.
DOES NOT COME WITH PDW's MUDGUARDS OR BOTTLE CAGE, as I want to keep them. Sorry
The good things:
Carlton Flyer Frame, 531, nice colour way (what's left of it), pretty light for a steel frame. Seat Tube 56cm/22inch centre-to-top. Top Tube 56 cm/22inch centre-to-centre
Blingy Chrome.
TA chains-pretty good condition-the ring (44) was only fitted a few weeks ago, and has hardly any wear.
Rides nicely, very responsive as you would expect from a track frame.
The less good:
As you can see, the paint is very worn and the chrome is gone in places. I treated the areas where the chrome had blown with a rust convertor to stop it getting any worse (and it hasn't). This could apparently be sanded off down to smooth metal should you ever wish to restore it. I checked with a chrome platers and they said this could be done, and the forks, head lugs, fork crown restored should you wish.
Therear hub (Campag) has lost it's drive side dustup. Doesn't seem to make much difference, I'v e been riding it without for 2 years at least. Probably longer.
The front rim anodising is gone. (although the rear has never seen a brake)
The Campag seat post is marked and blemished in places where I accidentally dropped a few drips of caustic soda over it a few years ago. Ditto the paint on the frame. All are structurally sound though as it ws cleaned straight off.
The rubber on the front brake lever is pretty ugly and warty, all be it original. You can get replacement hubs though.
The Unicator saddle has lost it's padding a suede, so is really only acceptably comfy for short rides.
Looking for around £220.
May be willing to split if no interest in full bike.
