Selling this unused Canon lens.

Full disclosure, it was a gift from a few years ago. Due to a store error, I was bought the basic model of this lens. On opening the box of the basic model the fancy model was inside.

As mentioned, apart from being fitted to camera body and tested it’s not seen the light of day. It’s been in the box (wrong box!) since as it’s overkill for me and too big and heavy for strolling about.

I think new they may have come with a sun hood which I don’t have as it wasn’t included in the wrong box.

New they look to be £1100-1300
Used in VGC with correct box and hood around £800

As mentioned this hasn’t been used beyond a test. It’s without lens hood or proper box. I think £500 is fair.
