Nice I have an 1953 rotrax concours. Also near Chichester when I’m at home.
Rotrax Facebook page is pretty active so may be worth a try if nothing happens on here, although they seem to be getting more and more desirable.
Would have been interested if it was bigger, GLWS -

Unlikely to sell on here tbh but it's best list this first on a cycling forum...
I restored this lovely bike a few years ago. It was purchased in 1953 by a colleague from work's father with money from his paper round.
It is a Rotrax Shirley built in Southampton by Rotrax Cycles. The original owner upgraded to 10 speed and added Weinneman levers and rattle canned it in the 1970's so I had no option but to respray. This was completed at Argos in Bristol who applied the decals supplied by Tim Maund who is currently the owner of the Rotrax brand.
I replaced the levers, shifters, front and rear mech with period (approximate) items. The bars have leather stitched wrap and the tryes are brand new.
The saddle is an old Brooks but not the original.
Size is 22" top tube, 22" seat tube
It rides really well and is surprisingly quick. I've ridden it a few times but it's just sitting in the garage and needs to be used.
Looking for £400 + posting and any fees. I can post but would prefer to meetup or have it collected. I am near to Chichester.
