I think you should give it to Red Dot for commission sale :)
(you shouldn't sell it)

It is! Thanks 🤞

Haha, yeah, I probably shouldn't, but it isn't getting the use it deserves sadly. Although I guess its nice just to hold every now and then 🤣

Beautiful set up
But damnnn, but what's been happening to M6 prices? they've really gone up in the last few years. 3/4 years ago you could pick up a good condition M6 body for like a grand maybe £1200 max, even on ebay. Now kicking myself for not buying a beautiful condition m6 TTL that came my way for £900 3 years ago :/
GLWS :)

Either you keep it or sell at inflated market price (not here) IMO :)

I have an M6 with 35mm summicron. Could never imagine selling it though dude! Even if it does occasionally sit on the shelf for a few months, it’s an absolute joy when you finally go out shooting with it. I’d say keep it, you’ll only regret it down the line!!

Is this how much they go for these days?! Damn.
GLWS, its a beautiful camera.

Thanks all, might be a keeper! At the moment i'm thinking its best if it gets used by someone. Pricing based on internet looking so let me know if I'm way off..

If that's all you're worried about I'm sure I could borrow it for a bit to make sure it gets used ;)
But yeah, either GLWS or keep it for a (not) rainy day! Only going to go up in value

Sadly I think its time to make a concerted effort to sell the best camera I have owned. I've brought too many bike bits and this isn't getting the use it deserves at the moment.
The camera comes with the plastic presentation box ( I still have the Leica strap and even the card wrap around the box!) and the leather strap in the pics, it has worked flawlessly. I think it could do with a CLA at some point, the shutter speeds are great except the longest (1 second) is sometimes a bit off. I never got round to doing it because I never used the slower speeds, but I can recommend someone decent if you wanted to get this done. Everything else is like clockwork.
The lens is the later made in Germany with the built in lens hood. I teach on a photography BA and have used loads of kit and this is the sharpest 50mm lens I have ever used. Optics are great, some wear on body but nothing too serious.
Was thinking along the lens £1300 mark and body £1900 , cheaper than ebay (and a lot cheaper than Red Dot etc) and a bit off the body to allow for a CLA. Message me if you would like both to discuss price. I would consider an FM2 in part exchange so I can still shoot 35mm :-)
