Got this superb condition Carrera Saruna with a colour matched Elite bottle cage and NOS SKY bidon.
7x3 gears using the later Revo Shift which I've found acceptable and far easier for kids to use over STIs. The transmission is very smooth, 26" wheels run great and give better stability over the smaller wheels you see on bikes at this size. QR on both and are fitted with 40mm wide Hybrid/road tyres with a light tread pattern, Vs are excellent stoppers.

This was for my grandson as his first geared bike so we could go on longer rides but that seems to have fizzled out, have bought him something more in keeping with how he's riding so this is surplus to requirements.
The minimum saddle height to floor is 26.5" so it's at the bigger end of the range for 8 years olds but there'll be plenty of growth in it.

£145, based in North Herts so might not be doable for you even if interested but we could drive it down to say High Barnet tube station on a weekend as this is relatively easy for us to get to.
