• Help me get my new retro mtb and recycle components!

    Shopping list:

    1. Seatpost, can't work out the exact size but going to assume 25.0 mm as its a 90s era MTB ( and based on @t0-ster's post here . I can always shim it if its too small. Any colour condition so long as it can fit a normal modern saddle rail.
    2. Quill stem adaptor, 21.1 or 22.1 and I'll file it down (again based on @t0-ster 's post). Same, no preference on colour or condition, just functional!
    3. Handlebars & stem. Current set up (see photo) is too short so maybe something abut 80mm and bars, anything with abit of rise to them compared to the pan flat ones I have. Something to get me going so I can work out what I'd like from there.
    4. SJS canti rack

Postage to Falkirk or in the unlikely event you're local (within restriction travelling) will happily collect.

    Thanks!

  • I’ve got a couple of NOS mtb stems for sale. Bit longer than the 80mm, but got a 1” syncros one and a 1 1/8” tioga.

  • Cracking bits of kit but not quite right - thanks though!

  • Thanks for messaging, I've had a fellow owner confirm the odd steerer tube, so going to leave that for the time being and make do with my bars!
