I bought in 2013 from an old postie building bikes with his retirement.

    pearl and blue
    I think 1984
    56.5 x 56.5 (stamped 58 on bb)
Columbus SL tubing i think, decal is worn, across the web many claim different types.
    Piet Nizet decals..
Stronglight headset (i bought new around 4 years ago) one replacement sealed bearing included

    • Unfortunately 😓 this has a seized seatpost. I’ve tried everything, but the caustic soda method (the paint😖). I’ve even taken it to this guy (https://www.stirlingbikedoctor.co.uk/seized-seatpost-removal/) who couldn’t do it on his machine, but says it should come out manually sawing. The price i think reflects the cost minus what he quotes for manual removal (£90)

So if you feel like having a go removing it yourself, or just riding it as is - i’ll include a replacement 27mm seatpost.

Let me know if you want to know anything else.

Based in Glasgow, happy to post, happy to meet

    £240

  • what's the rear dropout width & approximate "stuck" length from bb axle to saddle rails on the seatpost
    Ta

  • 240 for a frame with a stuck seat post!

  • sorry josh, the price includes sentimental value, which i'm happy to depreciate.

the rear dropout is 130mm and the approx length from bb to the rails is 745mm

  • That age of frame should have been 126 or 120 mm dropouts---
it's been spread to 130 so given the issues I'm out...

  • no probs, yeh i thought the same, when i got it, but have ridden 130 wheels no probs.
