I'm looking for a lockring for my 1990s Campagnolo 8-speed hub. I think it needs to be 29 mm based on Sheldon Brown's website and knowing that it has to be bigger than the one I have that appears to be a 27 mm.
Longer story: My LBS built up some wheels for me trading out the Mirage hubs for some smoother and prettier C-Record/Chorus ones I've collected. The Mirage rear hub was built onto my wheels by my LBS where I was living in Australia back in 2003 and was fitted with an 8-speed cassette to go with preexisting my 1993 8-speed Record Ergo shifters. I now see that Mirage was 9-speed then and the Aussie shop just used an 8-speed cassette (or dropped a cog?). That attests to the smaller lockring, 27 mm per Sheldon Brown's site for 2000-now 9/10-speed.
Does anyone have a 29 mm lockring around that you'd sell and send to me in Hungary?
Thanks.
