Full bike: 1989 retro mtb, £50 collection E8

Hey I recently bought two bikes and did a bit of a swap around of parts in order to build something that my cousin wanted. I've built the leftovers into a bike that's complete, but needs a little tuning of the brakes to get it to run smoothly. Whole bike for £sold collected from Hackney Downs. NOW SOLD

The frame is a pretty nice Ridgeback 603, custom painted for some racer I've never heard of back in the day. It could be left as a pub run around or done up into something nicer.

Spec as follows:

• Ridgeback 603, 17" frame. Custom paintjob, c. 1989 based on the original parts that were on it. Quick search suggests Tange double butted tubing, but there's nothing to say that on the frame. General condition good for its age. Nice pewter Shimano STX headset.
  
• 18 speed (once I put the granny ring back on) Exage Country groupset, also c. 1989. Whole lot came off a Muddy Fox Pathfinder.
  
• Thumb shifters, new rear derailleur cable
  
• V new schwalbe black jack tyres. Something with less tread might suit London better!
  
• Araya rims, MKS plastic pedals
  
• Bars/Stem also off the MF
  
  

Brakes need tuning up , which I'll have a go at doing before selling but can't promise I'll get them perfect. There's no play in any of the headset, BB or hubs.

Never heard from the friend but it sounded too small for them anyway. I've tuned the brakes about as good as they'll get.
