Installed brand new cranks and external bb today - a Miche Pistard Air and Miche Supertype Evo. Upon install they aren't spinning freely - as in would stay horizontal if left there and not drop downwards. They wouldn't go through more than 1 rotation if spun fast.
There isn't a lot of resistance and they don't feel overly stiff, however not what I'm used to.
Is this to be expected and will wear in over time, or is there an issue? My first thought was putting too much preload on the bb but seems really unlikely. I shelled out more for the BB with SKF bearings so want to make sure installed correctly.
Any help appreciated! Cheers
