It was repaired when I got it. A BB went in fine but it’s an ugly bit of welding..

I was planning to clear coat it and use it as my commuter/ pub bike but as I no longer commute or go to the pub....🤷🏻♂️

Probably. I’ve had a BB in it and ridden it, all seems good...apart from the cosmetics..... :)

I think this is a late 60’s Carlton that’s had a really hard life. 21” CTT seatpost. 22” CTC top tube. There’s a small dent in the top tube and a really awful but sound and there’s an “interesting” repair to the BB shell. There’s surface rust and a lack of paint but it rides surprisingly well. £25 collected from Bristol or post at cost...
