Hi guys,

Since this is officially the world's friendliest forum, I thought I'd give it a shot...

My best friend, his spouse and I are moving to Rotterdam at the end of this month from a Hungarian town. We're looking for a fully furnished two bedroom + living room apartment in Rotterdam (De Esch and its neighbourhood would be fantastic). We have our jobs sorted, got enough money, prepared for the worst case scenario. We won't bait and we're not planning on moving back to Hungary for a long time. Covid just screwed our initial plans for this moving, and now we need a place to live.

Our budget is ~1500 EUR/month with services. We can pay 2 months of deposit + 1 month rent immediately.

Catch 1: We can't go and view the apartment for ourselves before we leave the country for good, because of the regulations here dictate that we'd need to quarantine ourselves for 2 weeks, which is a no go. We have a friend living in Rotterdam who could view it for of us and cash the deposit if necessary.
Catch 2: We'd bring a cat if possible (small, room-trained, neutered female).
Catch 3: We'd arrive on 31st October morning, because this is the only way we've found a transfer.

Another possibility would be Amsterdam or The Hague, same "requirements" as above.

Cheers mate, thanks for your input! Although the apartment itself isn't suitable for us, the website did come real handy, been browsing it for the last hour!

Another option could be airbnb while you sort a permanent place. Often a bit cheaper if you stay for a month or so. We can recommend a nice place just out of Delft run by a very nice lady.

Thanks for the idea, checked it, but the ones in Rotterdam seem to be way out of our budget unfortunately. :( They are around 2.5k for a month, thankfully we're not that desperate - yet.
