There is a whole archive on the Surly site with old models and paint codes. A bit of Googling should find it.
EDIT: seems to have been turned into an email instead

What is the RAL color code for my frame?
RAL is a color code number system used by paint manufacturers. We can provide this code for most but not all of our colors. You can contact us at Derby@Surlybikes.com. Please provide the model of your Surly, its color, and the frame's serial number to aid us in your quest. -

Yes, I saw that thank you, but unfortunately you can only query with a serial number, hence my post :)
It looks like RAL 4005 to me. -

"The metallic lilac color from that Steamroller is RAL-4012!"
From the Steamroller FAQ on the Surly website.

The fork is carbon and it can't be powder coated, according to Steve, so there is a slight difference in the shade, but looks cool.
Does anyone know what is the RAL code for this beauty? https://www.bachebrotherscycles.co.uk/bikes/view/surly/steamroller-metallic-lilac
