Your hourly rate, transport, overheads and parts
Who is insuring the work you do?

Sustrans will cover the work I do unless you know something I should have that I don’t?

That sounds a lot like you should have written
I’m assuming Sustrans will cover the work I do ...
If they are employing you then maybe, if they are hiring you as a self employed mech then probably unlikely (I’d have thought).

Regarding work offered at Dr Bike sessions.
Make sure you, or any staff you have absolutely LIMIT service on customer bikes to M-checks, and adjusting gears/brakes, inflating tires, lubing the chain.
The temptation is to do favours for people, approach each bike like you would in the workshop but if one single thing goes wrong you have a bike stuck in the stands and a line building up.
To run a great Dr. Bike session you need to keep those bikes moving through and sending people on their way either happy or with the info they'll need going forward to sort their bikes.
(I used to organise these sessions for Havebike and later Bikeworks).

Btw, sent a message to someone in industry atm about current pricing.
If they get back to me I'll get back to you.

Pming you.
I've been approached by Sustrans NI to deliver some Doctor Bike and also maintenance courses. They seem to have a decent budget and I'd like a little advice on an hourly rate they'd be prepared to pay to get this done. Anyone have any experience for pricing these?
