Older retro mtb frame 19" or so - large

Posted on
  • Hey, I'm looking to build up a bike based on an older mtb frame. GT and Konas are preferable but will be interested in others. Larger size, rear dropouts not relevant. If it comes with a rigid fork then it's a good bonus.
    Thanks!

  • Hi mate,

Ive got a Large 1997 spesh rockhopper with Kona p2 forks going up for sale soon.

    Ritchey dropouts, nitanium tubing etc.

Is available full build or just frameset...

  • I've got this 'KLEBER frame in great condition, solid, no cracks, paintwork excellent
    It's 1"/quill type, 18.5" c-c/20" c-t, old size 130mm OLN at the rear.
BSC threads all in great condition, there's an old but usable BB now in situ and the original alloy single bolt seatpost is present, it was out previously so I know that it's not stuck. Additionally there's the original cantilever brakes, the nut heads have some tarnishing but functionally they are great, the pads have seen light use.
The headset is all okay aside from some cosmetics on the outer ring.

There's two sets of guard/rack mounts on the rear dropouts and it's a top pull type front D
£25 gets it posted to you unless you can collect from Letchworth Garden City -North Herts, in which case call it a tenner.
