Some closer shots can't hurt... And I forgot to mention that 5% of sale price will be donated to LFGSS.

Perfect fit for me too. Sadly wife.

Honestly. If this was a 56, I’d have bitten your hand off. Still miss my old one.

Twelve hundred quid for a frame thats more than a decade old 🤷🏽♂️

It’s a Mewts! (spelt how owners/former owners pronounce it...)
I don’t understand the folk who are asking more for older plastic bikes, or why the price of a Cinelli supercorsa is always so high, it’s just SLX and a snazzy seat stay surely?
I also don’t get all the Chris King hype, or Paul, or Phil... 🤷♂️

Thanks for the nice comments, folks.
@D_Mars I can thank my wife for the (many) reminders that I committed to selling this, not treat it as wall art. So here it is.
@*Matt* I'd be like that too, but over a 55.
@mattyc Cheers! (But I pronounce it like the cow sound.)
@amey If this Moots was being offered at this price at my size, I'd snap it up.

Or a specialized
Fred is just jealous that i got the same frame for less than half of this and found it to be a solid ‘meh’

I'm also jealous of this, it was your turbo bike wasn't it? ;)

Yeah mainly, took it to sierra nevada once, good trip. All alps trips happened on mass produced carbon bikes, way more fun.

Did an artisan framebuilder beat you up when you were a kid?

i love soulless modern stuff that just works better, more efficient and is cheaper. They are just tools, I have no emotions attached to them, one goes out, another one comes in.

I'll take that as a yes

I’m currently a die hard taichungalista who is waiting for the right moment for the opportunity to explore titanium’s soul hole.
Then I will will hold all of the infinity stones and no one will stop me
Price: £1200.
Pick-up only from North London (Haringey).
Size: 53.5 (standard size - see chart for geometry).
Condition: Bought second-hand in good condition and kept that way. There are signs of use - minor surface marks, scratches, and abrasions, including from cable rub (worst of which is under top tube, see pic). I can take snapshots with wheels in place if there are concerns about clearance - I used 25mm tubs mostly, with no issues.
Fork: Edge Road 1.0 (Edge was Enve before a rebrand). The 1.0 fork was lighter, maybe a little comfier and certainly pricier than the 2.0 fork. Steerer was cut long (about 225mm) and unless you're using a Moots stem or another with a tall stack I'd recommend cutting it shorter, but it's your call. Rake is 45mm as Moots recommends: https://moots.com/support/
Includes Chris King headset (re-greased and runs smooth).
In preparing for the photos I noticed a crack forming in the plastic cable guide under the BB. This still seems OK and I've used a drop of superglue to prevent it worsening. I've ordered a replacement with the same product code (Shimano SM-SP18-M, cost just £2.49), which I'll post to the buyer's address if I don't receive it by the time this frame is picked up. It looks like Moots itself offers a different model now (Sp17) but I might as well sell this with the type that came with it, which fits and worked fine.
Protective tapes left in place to limit plastic waste.
This frame was always on the small side for me but I enjoyed its liveliness married to amazing comfort. I'm only selling this as I'm no longer flexible enough for this geometry and it's a shame to just leave it hanging on my office wall forever. Looking at the snapshots from this afternoon, the Moots already seems happy at the prospect of being released onto the roads and into the wild where it belongs.
(PS. In the unlikely event that someone has a Moots sitting around that's a size bigger that they find too large, maybe with the 1cm head tube extension, we could discuss a trade.)
