Like the way one of the heel lugs has completely separated

Yeah. Didn’t see that until afterwards. Worse comes to worse, I’ll put them out to display in my bike room.

Would look great with a Caadwhatever in Volvo team colours.

early nineties. I bought my Dominators in 1992. Yours were the basic version of the Dominators back then.

Those things were ace. I want one even now...

Well unfortunately, as I cleaned and disinfected them, the sole just started crumbling off like cheese. Oh well. They are 30+ years old. Good display piece?

Dremel out the soles and use them to convert a pair of converse into stealth cycling shoes.
I love mine.

I have a pair of NOS of these. I bought them as a tribute to my Dominators and for use with my vintage mtb's, but they have the same issue (gummy soles) so are "for display only".

I might try and scrape the existing sole off and glue and screw a replacement Sidi sole on, like these.
Picked these Sidi MTB shoes up today from FB marketplace for $30AUD. They look pretty much new... just wondering how old they might be? Early 90’s? The other issue is the sole is a bit gummy. They’re probably going to disintegrate on the first ride. Oh well, I just want them to commute.
