Parts cleaner

Can anyone one of the above for a home mechanic? Should I go ultrasonic or a basic brush and tray cleaner?

A decent degreaser in an Ice cream tub with a tooth brush is all you need for stuff like that.

Ditto. Citrus-based (biodegradable) household degreaser, spray bottle, foot bath tub, a small stiff plastic brush, a larger plastic brush, WD40, and an old t shirt are what I use, and I’m constantly being accused by the gf of buying new components. I’ve also got the park tool chain cleaner which works ok but with the benefit of keeping the chain on the bike.
