My daughter has outgrown her Islabike, so it's time to find it a new home.

Islabikes make brilliant bikes for young ones and this one has provided many miles and smiles over the last few years. It's ready to ride, but it has got some battle scars and the drive train could do with an overhaul, all of which is reflected in the price. New, they cost £440 without mudguards. I'm looking for £195, pickup from Hither Green SE13.

What age is suitable, how old is your daughter now?

This is the size guide from the website. My daughter used it when she was about 8-10 years old.

To add - there's loads of seat post too, so very adjustable as they grow.

How’s it riding? What’s the issues with the drivetrain ? Thanks

It’s totally fine, the drivetrain could do with a degrease and clean is all. I’d replace the cables and pads too. All easy jobs, I’m just full on with work so don’t have the time. Hence the cheap price.

Saying that, if this work is a barrier, just let me know and I can sort it this end. I will put the price up to reflect though.

Amazed this hasn't sold, such a bargain. Just chill on the discounts, get a few more pictures to add once every few days. These bikes aren't the only good bikes for kids any more, but they're the first and the 'brand' is just excellent. Their new old-persons' bikes are stunning. And Isla is a really lovely excellent proper scene supporting cyclist. I rode up a welsh mountain with RSF a while back, she did it on a 100 year old bike, fixed I think!

seams a great deal to me, and I'd love to take it off your hands.
My son is the perfect fit for this bike but as much as I've tried just not into cycling, even after buying him the Isla Rohan and Cnoc 14.
Tried him on a cheap heavy 20" bike, which he also doesnt ride.

The difference in build is light and day and I recommend Isla to everyone.
