Thanks,
That’s too much, I should’ve just bought a new hammer, but I’ve already bought a new head.

drive a woodscrew in there some way (not insanely tight) then grab the top of that with mole grips and unscrew the lot?

Never done it before, but maybe you could create a notch on it and a screw it out. If you’ve got an old flathead screwdriver or similar (that you don’t mind ruining the temper on), heat the screwdriver over a stovetop flame and create a flat notch in the broken head. Do it in a well ventilated area, burnt plastic is bad for you. Edit: have done this on a shitty plastic BB that rounded off, it worked.
If that fails, you could melt a cross into the whole depth of the broken plastic, then carefully torque out the plastic chunk by chunk.

If all else fails, epoxy the old head back on (sand and clean both surfaces first).
Then offer the new head on here for a forum donation or something.

You could drill 2 small holes and use a pin spanner if you have one?
-

Get it out with a healing crystal.
-
• #9
Just put the crystal near the broken hammer and wait until it comes out. Super easy.

Don’t forget to use some essential oils on the threads.

Loving these replies.
I’ll hold off doing owt to get these ‘different’solutions. -

Heat the whole flathead then slam it in there.
After it cools you can twist it out.Try find some ideonella sakaiensis.

Wrong, wrong, wrong. You clearly need a shark's tooth toothpick.
Dip the hammerhead in salted water and apply the toothpick to the blue plastic. It will float to the surface

Alternatively the description indicates that the tool has a replaceable plastic head. Simply replace it ;)

Left hand drill.

I’m vegan so it’s a no no with them bugs.
Any ideas @Veloshrimp -

Rubber band and the cross screwdriver.
Depends on how tightly its wedged in. -
• #20
Definitely heat something up, whack it in and let it set then unscrew.
Easiest option Shirley?
Can heat the screw driver or whatever on a gas hob if no blowtorch available.

Setting his house on fire would also work.
-
• #22
Yes. Shirley. But don't go overboard and push a white-hot screwdriver into the plastic or you might make some nasty fumes, and maybe sink in too far and melt the plastic threads. Then you've just got a toxic mess.

This one is good. Doubles up as a hammer.
Bottom reference.
My Park Tools blue hammer head has sheared off. How do I get the rest that’s screwed in out?
