Seatpost bolts have quite long nuts so they fit a wide range of seat lugs widths. Such as:
https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/seat-posts/vintage-style-steel-seat-post-binder-bolt-16mm/Also, it sounds like your Italian frame has an Italian threaded BB shell (70 x 36mm) so yes, you’ll need a BB with Italian threads.
Morning all,
I've never built up an older bike before, but i've just got a Concorde Aquila SLX. I've managed to free the stuck seatpost with Scale-X, but the seatpost bolt itself is missing.
Measuring the outer distance of the two lugs, it comes up at 22.4mm. Where the bolt sits is a little recess, so do i need a 22mm seat post bolt, or a 19mm, or something else?
Also, the BB shell is 70mm wide and has an internal diameter of 35mm, give or take. This is a Chinese vernier gauge i'm using so, you know, it could me slightly out.
If i'm to fit the 105/Ultegra stuff in the parts bin, do i need the Shimano Hollowtech BB with Italian thread?
Thanks in advance.
