I was quite relieved to see this was too big for me. Lovely color, Athena silver would look amazing if you can source one. There was one listed here but I reckon it sold already.

It looks like you’ve jammed the crock in the back wheel like BMXers do with tennis balls.
The seat cluster is so nice!

If you're going to run mudguards on this I world recommend the GB 40mm short.
I've literally tried at least 8 different pairs and the GB give the best results in regard to fitting, tire size and durability.
They are a total faff to get right though especially around the front fork crown.

Thanks for this info
I am hoping to run guards & hopefully have them painted to match
King originally used honjo I was told
Pics for mudguard inspiration

This is absolutely awesome, love these frames. The Silver campag is a total match, looks great. Sub'd.

Yes, I had the custom painted Honjo fenders with my Cielo. They bent beyond repair after I got the toe of shoe caught under the front guard lip. Replacing them was going to cost £150 so I never bothered. They had also begun to chip a bit.
Note they can only take a 25c tire as opposed to the GB which can take 28mm

Ultegra is for peasants.

Very nice
I do intend on running 28mm tyres so the GB short would be best option
I have just been mailed the paint mix formula from Chris King
Notice your Cielo has the panto fork crown , love the build now with the dynamo -

I was looking at my brake options & it was between the Velo Orange , nice but super pricey or TRP 957
I looked at the Tektro , Miche & Condor rebranded brakes
Decided on the TRP 957 after looking at VO availability & costings -

You can also run 35mm knobbies on the Cielo without guards and it becomes a really fun light gravel bike

Yes I remember seeing your bike at some point with G ones on
How did it handle with the fat rubber ? -

That looks suspiciously like Ultegra

Really well. Enjoyed bunny-hopping it about

I took a load of pictures at the CK factory when I went to collect mine, which I can post if you want? Might clutter the thread a bit though

Yeah, it's a bit square at the corners. The Ritchey alloy stem looks nice on there.
So I purchased the Cielo frameset from @Orko42
Always wanted one & nearly got this same frame a year ago from another forum member
Plan is silver Campagnolo 11 & Nitto finishing kit
