Looks nice, Alfine 8 would be enough for now, though for the future I would for sure look towards Rohloff. Have seen several Fortitudes with Rohloff but no clear dropout pictures, how is the Rohloff secured in this frame? Any idea about max tyre clearance?

Pipedream ALICE frameset? Just waiting for mine to arrive but feedback is good and seems to tick the boxes....

I'm looking for a steel frameset or complete bike for bikepacking and off-road touring. Large size (I'm 6'0''), double/triple fork mounts preferred, at least 2'0'' tyre clearance. Rohloff compatibility is welcome.
My general ideas are Genesis Longitude/Vagabond, Kona Sutra, Specialized AWOL, Brother Big Bro, Salsa Fargo, Surly Ogre/ECR.
