First option is means the less hassle and it is by far the easiest solution, however the last is probably the most fun one. If you have the parts I'd say go for that SS gravel thingy, but I probably wouldn't spend too much on it if not.

The list off things wrong with bike is too much .single speed conversion is too much .cheapest way is ride it in the big ring and tape up the grips and saddle and ride it like that till Evans offer a trade in for your old bike the more you spend the more they offer for you old bike.

Not sure this is the right sub-forum but here goes...
My old Giant Escape 1 has been sitting on the balcony neglected these past few months. It was my daily ride for 5-odd years and I pretty much road it into the ground. Now I'm questioning what I should do with it.
Here is what's wrong with it:
TBH, I was pretty slack at maintenance.
As I see it these are the options:
1) Sell it as is.
2) Spend a little as possible to get it ridable and sell it.
3) Split it and sell it?
4) Turn it into a SS gravel bike to eke a bit more life out of it.
Thought I ask what people here thought. What should I do with it?
