Thank you All for the interest and the good wishes, this has now sold to Spicep1. Sorry for everyone for any disappointment.
Hi All,
I'm selling my commuter bike as I built another one and moving so sadly this has to go.
I built it three years ago on a classic Dawes frame, ridden regularly in the past two years.
The parts:
Frame: Dawes, seat tube c-c 55 (57 c-t), top tube 58 c-c. This is very comfortable for me (5'11")
The paintwork is ok, regular scuffs, but nothing serious. Some of the decals are almost gone but the rest is OK too. No cracks, dents in the frame.
Drivetrain: Shimano 600 crankset with 42 chainring and a chainguard at the front. 6 speed screw on freewheel at the rear, narrow chain (new)
Wheels: cup and cone hubs, single wall rim on the front- cheap factory wheel, double wall trekking rim at the rear, hand built by me.
Tyres: Vittoria Hyperthread 32 mm - brilliant tyres good rolling and very good puncture protection, well used but still life left.
Brakes: original Weinmann single pivot brakes, new cartridge brakepads.
Brake levers: Shimano flat bar road caliper levers.
Alloy Northroad handlebars, rubber lock-on grips.
alloy seatpost, Charge saddle.
Mudguards
Basil Portman Front basket.
I'm asking for £200 ONO. Collection in Tooting, London. If you need shipping, I'll figure it out, just let me know.
Any questions, please ask.
Cheers.
