Sounds like the chain to me! Any noise from wheels or crank with the chain removed?

maybe one of your rear wheel bearings/freehub bearings has seized, the axle may well still turn. Its possible your axle has allen key shapes in the ends, if so its an easy job to undo them, pull off the freehub and check.

Thanks, chain clean and re-lube first As that’s the easiest thing.
Wheel bearings have done less than 30kms so think that would be unlucky to seize so I’ll try that second.
First
Time out on my super start wheels. After about 15k got a rubber on rubber squeak. Checked all wheel points where goes close to stays, nothing. Squeak still there with chain set removed and using chain to pull wheel round. No noise when freewheeling. Any ideas where the squeak could be? Cassette will come off tomorrow for a good greasing of the hub and around and about.
Noise only happens when and power applied no matter how small, even when pulling the chain the make the wheel turn.
TIA.
