Getting shot of some surplus to requirements hifi seperates - both are v. good cosmetic condition and were fully working when I last used them. Admittedly this was quite a while ago, so they good probably do with a good clean inside and potentially servicing. As a result I am selling them at spares/repair prices (no warranty offered or implied ;-) )
Proton 520
The Proton 520 is basically a 1990's "audiophile clone" of the budget classic NAD 3020 (I think it was made in the same Taiwan factory). 3020 specs as follows:
Power output: 20 watts per channel into 8Ω (stereo)
Frequency response: 10Hz to 70kHz
Total harmonic distortion: 0.02%
Damping factor: 55
Input sensitivity: 2.5mV (MM), 150mV (line)
Signal to noise ratio: 75dB (MM), 110dB (line)
Dimensions: 420 x 96 x 240mm
Weight: 5.26kg
PRICE - £40
NAD 7240PE
The 7240PE receiver consists of the 3240PE integrated amplifier plus an exceptionally sensitive digital tuner.
Tuning range: FM, MW
Power output: 40 watts per channel into 8Ω (stereo)
Frequency response: 20Hz to 20kHz
Total harmonic distortion: 0.03%
Damping factor: 50
Input sensitivity: 3.2mV (MM), 160mV (line)
Signal to noise ratio: 76dB (MM), 88dB (line)
Speaker load impedance: 2Ω to 8Ω
Dimensions: 420 x 108 x 380mm
Weight: 7.48kg
PRICE - £35
These are for pick up only (Battersea SW8 - evenings/weekends) - I haven't got suitable boxes/packing materials and they are v. heavy so postage would be expensive for the value. Any q's just let me know.
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering: ![](https://www.google.co.uk/images/srpr/logo4w.png) That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot

For syntax highlighting, surround the code block with three backticks:
```
Your code goes here
Just like Github, a blank line must precede a code block.
If you upload more than 5 files we will display all attachments as thumbnails.
