I have put an old Corima disc wheel on the back, swapped the bars for Cinelli Angel ones and will switch the groupset to Ultegra 6600

Tadahh.
I rode it round the road track at the velopark today. Wheels sound nice, my first time of using a disc wheel, so I was glad there wasn't a lot of wind to deal with

650c wheels.
How did it feel. Got a 58cm r1000 that not selling so buying bits to make it a bike is the obvious thing to do.

It wasn't as quick as my 700c Principia TT2 according to Strava but that is probably more down to me and the Rapha festive 500 than the wheels or bike.
I picked up the disc wheel cheap, along with a Specialized trispoke with a drink in the rim for not a lot, and the pictured one cheap 'on here'.
I will shorten the aero bar reach a bit, change the saddle and put some proper pedals on.
I got some tubular HED wheels on eBay for £100 recently, so there are definitely bargains to be had if you don't mind hanging on and waiting.
How tall are you if you don't mind me asking? This is 56cm and I am 6' dead

Subbed that's fab. I just love the early Cannondale's.
I still haven't finished the 650c kid bike project, but it is time to start a new one.
This one came about because of the kid bike, I thought that I could use the wheels until I have kids large enough to ride the 650c bike project.
Anyway, I bought the bike 'on here' along with loads of the bits.
I have a duathlon coming up in January, so I am going to ride this rather than my larger wheeled bikes.
All I need is a pointy hat and some speedos.
Plans are to move from 8 speed to 10 speed and shed a bit of weight and the GripShifters.
Excuse the mess and duff photos
