I'm selling my Saffron Light Tourer - frame/fork and headset

it's hardly been used since in my possession, about 300 miles odd. And stored very carefully for the last 5 years ish. Condition is unchanged.

yep. It's a beautiful handmade frame that to have commissioned would have cost considerably more. I have hardly used it and therefore think the price is justified - low if anything. Matthew even says in his OG post that this price is what the paint cost alone....

You rode 300 miles total.. Over 5 years.. Why did you buy a bicycle..

Ultimately I felt like the bike was too special for what I wanted it for. I never said I rode it 300 miles over 5 years, I rode it for a few months then disassembled it and moved parts over to something less precious and stored the Saffron. I kept the frame with the intention of building up a Sunday best but my motivations in cycling changed. I have other bikes which I've ridden far more - I'm having a good clear out now and it feels like the right time to get this wonderful frame to someone who will love it.

Whilst some of these details are probably relevant to the sale, I would appreciate it if we leave this kind of input out of the thread..

Un-dibbed based on fit details for me. It's just far too nice a frameset to potentially not be quite right once invested in the build. I will be kicking myself when this sells though, it's lovely. GLWS...

I think I remember seeing this in Balfes being built up just after you’d bought it. I was very jealous.
