Principia RSL AS Frame and Forks 55cm - perfect winter trainer

Started to build this up as a winter trainer but unfortunately I just don't have room to keep it.

Danish made Principia RSL AS - 7005 Aluminium frame with a brand new Kinesis DC07 Carbon fork which has just been fitted but not yet ridden

This is a rare variation on the classic RSL frameset that was seemingly only avaible for a short time - it has a slightly shorter top tube, more stack and clearance for 28mm tyres and mudguards. Frame and fork also have mudguard eyelets. In short perfect for winter training. I've left space on the steerer for 30mm of spacers for a more comfortable, stable position.

Its a really lovely, well made frame, as anyone that has seen a Principia close up will agree. Classic lines with some interesting tweaked tube profiles. Still in the original hard anodized finish, an unusual metallic bronze and is rock hard -only a few superficial marks.

Also included is the original Principia cartridge bearing headset -supposedly made by Chris King IIRC. Could do with some new bearings, and the lower plastic seal is missing but otherwise working.

It's 15.3, doesn't quite match the Geo but it's closest to the 55.

Seat tube 58cm centre to top

Top tube about 55 centre to centre on the horizontal, has a slight slope so hard to measure

any ideas on how much this would cost to post?

No idea im afraid, it's been a while since I posted a frame. I would guess around £15-20

This is sweet. Seen some lovely Principia's in the Projects thread recently too.

I am glad this is just a little too large for me. Currently looking for decent ally frame. And as others have said this is a beauty.

(I used to borrow a friends RSL and it was a lovely thing to ride)
