Yeah, both drilled for brakes. Thank you!

Sexy frame and decent price! GLWS.

I'm pretty sure this exact frame was sold on eBay for £120 last summer?
-

Definitely wasn't that particular buyer. I've only bought this frame recently, not in the summer. Unlikely it's the same frame.

Saturday price drop. Thanks x

This is lovely. Tried convincing my girlfriend that she needs it to replace her heavy Charge Plug but no success. Curious to see mudguard eyelets on track ends!

Interesting right? Wish it was my size, i'd keep it for myself.
Anyway, here's a rainy Monday price drop £150 (open to reasonable offers) x

Any pictures with it built/with wheels?

Sadly not, never got that far. I can try take a pic of it as a rolling chasis with my daily grey Archetype + Goldtec wheelset, but not sure how nice that'll look haha.

Full disclosure, I'm just curious to see how it looks as I really like the frame. I have neither the cash nor the space at the moment. Might help the sale I guess!

You're right, that's a good idea. will try carve out some time and do that. Cheers!

I would think that frame is steel ..? Not sure if Chromed Aluminium is a thing. #Iamnotametallurgist

Hmm fairly sure it's alu. If it's steel then it would be some magical steel tubing that has alu like lightness and sounds like aluminium when tapped. -
• #17
I think alu can be chromed ... http://arlingtonplating.com/substrates-specifications/plating-on-aluminum/ -

Well I may well be wrong. Often am.
The way to settle it is to put a magnet near it!
-

UPDATE! intrigued by @Skülly 's comment and @Chak 's texting I investrigated with a strong magnet
Turns out the frame is steel!
It's amazing, cos the main triangle sounds like alu when tapped, it's really thin and light. Obviously no idea what tubing it is. Open to any info from steel tubing anoraks here. But i can say that the whole thing -with seatpost, BB, forks (which are alu+ carbon) , headset- weighs at 2.8kg

Heh. Toldya. Also the diameter of the tubes all round don’t look like Alu.
I’ve seen a few Atoms on here. (@JD sold a nice pearl white one around the time I bought an Orrell off him)and they’re always tiny. Which makes me vaguely remember that they might have been built compact i.e. designed for a really long seat pin and low rise stem, ‘no-pro’ version of LoPro. Timetrial bikes or hillclimbers perhaps? Or pursuit?

Haha, all sorts of ramblings. As per usual.
Mostly about formed steel tubing being thin enough to look and sound like alu and speculations about which tubing it might be.

Yeah having put on wheels on it to see how it looks confirms exactly what you say. V strong 'no-pro' LowPro vibes.
I strongly suspect it's a TT or pursuit frame cos of the compact, swift looking geo.
And yeah really only main triangle can be mistaken for alu. It threw me cos handling it (esp when it's sans forks & parts) it's so light and feels kinda aluminiumy in the hands.
I'm 184cm tall so waayy too big for this, if it was even remotely near my size I would very likely keep it despite my serious lack of space.

Anyone know who/where Atom come from?
Bought this for a mate to build them a fast, fun ride, it petered out, winter came and we ended up going in a more winter-sensible direction. So selling to clear space for my own builds.
Love this & wish it was my size. That blue paint job ... <3 chrome on half the stay ends, i think it's chromed under the paint. Not sure. It's small 51 ST and 54 TT, would fit anyone 5'8'' or under? It's steel ?(not sure which tubing) but it's incredibly light and thin on the main triangle.
Comes with everything pictured.
Original forks, mix of aluminium and carbon
Shimano 105 threaded headset
Campag Chorus BB.
Ritchey seatpost
Fork and stays bridge both drilled for brakes
As you'd expect from an old frame, there's the usual scratches, rub marks and one deep paint chip (not a ding) check out more pics of imperfections in this link:

I'd like £150, this is now firm. North London (Golders Green) pick up or can maybe meet in central within reason. Rather not post but can do at your expense.
